Graphic: Teen Pregnancy and Abortion Rates Collapsed Over the Past 30+ Years

I told you all an article Shocking Facts About Abortion in America that the younger generations are more conservative on issues like pregnancy than our parents and grandparents – we get married later, get pregnant less, and have higher rates of education.  As I’ve said, generally speaking things are getting better and better in America (we have more free time now than any generation that has ever lived).  Some believe this is partly the result of aggressive sex education and health classes beginning in elementary school (I think I was 9 or 10 when we got “the talk” in 4th grade, followed by a far more graphic one in 6th grade when we were 11 or 12).

That is, the questions these scientists seem to be posing: Are teenage boys sitting at home looking at explicit Internet sites instead of knocking up their female classmates?  That would make a single one-time “mistake” in the back of a Ford less likely to lead to a surprise nine months later for some poor kids in a farm town.
