Today, I wanted to write new content for Investing for Beginners at About.com, a division of The New York Times, and then go through the S&P stock sheets for fun.

Writing Investing Articles at Applebee's

I went to Applebee's to have lunch and write my new About.com content.

Applebee's Bacon Cheeseburger

I had a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings an iced tea and black coffee from Applebee's.

Reading S&P Stock Sheets on the Balcony

A few hours later, I decided to read S&P stock sheets on the balcony with a cup of coffee and my iPad. That way, I could research companies that I found interesting by pulling their SEC filing as I browsed their history in the S&P book.

I kept reading the S&P stock sheets for hours, without realizing how much time was passing.

Night fell without me realizing it.

The Cat Joined Me

Somewhere along the line, the cat had also joined me as I read.
