Houstons Steakhouse Kansas City

After meeting my newborn nephew for the first time, Aaron and I went to grab lunch at Houston’s steakhouse on the Country Club Plaza.  We had planned on going to Ruth’s Chris but everyone else was too exhausted so just he and I headed over to the shopping district because we wanted to look at some merchandise at Tiffany & Company, as well as pick up the Nespresso CitiZ with milk frother from Williams-Sonoma (which we did last after we ate).

I got the same thing I did when I last went with Aaron and his mom on December 8th, 2010: A cheeseburger loaded with everything, shoe string french fries, and horseradish sauce on the side for dipping so it burns so badly it hurts.  Before that, I think the last time I went was with Holly and Aaron for a movie night when I tried the Hawaiian style steak.  Prior to that, it was the launch date for iPad 1 last spring when I went with my parents and ordered a French Dip. Why do I remember this stuff? That right there gives you guys a glimpse into how my brain is wired.  It’s bizarre. Anyway …

I looked through some information from Tiffany & Company before we ordered dinner ...

I had a cheeseburger with everything, along with horseradish sauce on the side because I wanted to dip the fries and the cheeseburger in it.

We had a spinach artichoke dip prior to the sandwiches ... it was all perfect.

We picked up the espresso machine and ended up going home before my mom came over to pick up her car and check out the coffee quality with us.
