Over the next few hours, four or five generations of the family are descending on my house where we are preparing for my mom’s 50th birthday celebration tonight. Before everyone gets here, the spouse and I are getting the chocolate covered strawberries ready. The brownies were baked last night, my sister is picking up the cake from a local bakery, and I have to finish the spa water.
The color is a bit off in these. I haven’t figured out the settings on the Android phone, yet. They look like they are washed out a bit and have some sort of yellow / green filter on them. That’s unfortunate because in real life, the colors were much more vibrant.

Finished Chocolate Dipped Strawberries … We had some help from the four year old, who was also snacking on Graham crackers and excited about the different candy and snacks being made. The color is really off in this one; it looks way too yellow and brown. Again, sorry. I might just buy a separate camera for the blog instead of using my phone.
I need to check on the spa water … be back later.
