Today, I wanted to write new content for Investing for Beginners at About.com, a division of The New York Times, and then go through the S&P stock sheets for fun.

I went to Applebee’s to have lunch and write my new About.com content.

I had a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings an iced tea and black coffee from Applebee’s.

A few hours later, I decided to read S&P stock sheets on the balcony with a cup of coffee and my iPad. That way, I could research companies that I found interesting by pulling their SEC filing as I browsed their history in the S&P book.

I kept reading the S&P stock sheets for hours, without realizing how much time was passing.

Night fell without me realizing it.

Somewhere along the line, the cat had also joined me as I read.
